Dear Colleagues,
Members of the American Association of Anatomists’ Digital Histology Interest Group have organized an informal Histology Education Round Table session at Experimental Biology 2017 in Chicago.
Date: Sunday, April 23
Time: 12:30-2PM
Location: Room 179A
You are welcome to grab lunch at the
Convention Center and bring it to the session.
We will facilitate discussions about:
- Online Histology Teaching (e.g. fully online, hybrid, blended)
- Integrating Histology with Other Subjects
- Digital Histology in Formative and Summative Assessment
Everyone is welcome to attend and please feel free to extend this invitation to your colleagues weather they teach histology or not. We feel that science educators in any discipline will benefit from this session and walk away with some resources and ideas for integrating histology to what they teach. On the flip side, histology educators are eager to learn from colleagues in other disciplines their unique perspectives and brainstorm ideas together to offer a more integrated histology experience.
See you soon in Chicago!
p.s. For those of you in the DHIG who have been following the planning process, I have attached the minutes from our final conference call.
