DHIG Social at AAA 2019!

    Hi DHIG!

Who will be at the annual conference in Orlando in April?  I would love for us to find time to gather, socialize and talk histology again.
Would you please reply with your interest and time frame or two that may work best for our gathering?

Kathy Moore (from Utah) is looking into some restaurant options as we speak!  If you know of a good place, close to the convention center, please let us know.

    Thanks!

    Lisa et al.,

Thanks for taking the lead in setting-up our annual luncheon.  I will be at EB from the morning of Saturday, April 6, through the evening of Tuesday, April 9, 2019.  I haven't yet looked at the EB talk/poster schedule, so I have no idea which day would work best for the luncheon, but most likely what works for everyone else also work for me.  I'm looking forward to seeing y'all at the EB meeting in Orlanda!

I thought I would mention that the women in anatomy group will have a "lunch and learn" gathering on Sunday lunch time, for those interested. Consequently, potentially scheduling the DHIG another lunch day?
I will likely not be able to attend, but think it is a great idea. Thanks Lisa for spear heading this again.

    Hi all!
DHIG lunch tomorrow (4/9) will be at the Cafe Gauguin in the Rosen Center hotel. It's close to the convention center, accessible via sky bridge. It is also a buffet rerestaurant with options for everyone. Given the limited lunch time we have, I thought proximity was the most important factor here. Let's plan on meeting in the anatomy lounge at 11:40am to walk over together. If you know you are coming & haven't checked in here or with me, please do so by noon today!
Thank you & look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

One more thing.  Haviva mentioned that it would be helpful if we could find some additional sponsors for the project.  Towards that end, and in the hopes it will inspire additional donations, the Buonacorsi Foundation will kick things off by committing to donate $2,000 for the 2019 year.  What is the mechanism for me to do this?
