    Dear DHIG colleagues,

    The long awaited Virtual Microscopy Database (VMD) has launched!  Please visit VMD Website, sign up to be VMD users and please consider sharing your virtual tissue slide collections.  

    We would like to sincerely thank the DHIG community for the constant support, inquiry, encouragements and constructive criticism throughout this process. VMD would not have been possible without you!  Special thanks to those from DHIG community and elsewhere who beta tested the site and donated their digital collections in advance. 

    Please do not hesitate to contact any of us (Haviva, Michael or myself) with any questions or feedback. 

    Let the resource sharing begin!

    Congratulations Lisa, Haviva, and Michael!  I think the VMD will improve the lives of so many people through its uses in teaching, learning, and research.  Thank you for working hard to bring this important resource to our community.  I am looking forward to your VMD session at EB.
