Digital Histology Interest Group or DHIG

Hello DHIG!

A few DHIG members asked me about a DHIG social at AAA.  Since Sunday (April 23) almost seems like a histology-themed day, with the VMD symposium and DHIG roundtable, why don't we make a full day out of it and hang out at a pub or a restaurant in the evening?  

This is of course, totally optional, so if you happen to be free in the evening (around <g class="gr_ gr_491 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim gr_inline_cards Style multiReplace" id="491" data-gr-id="491">7pm</g>?), would you be up for a DHIG social on Sunday, April 23?  Haviva, Michael and I will be there to answer any lingering questions about VMD and this would be a great opportunity to continue any hot discussions started at the DHIG roundtable.  

I have a couple of places in mind where we can go (10-15 min walking distance).  

If you can come, please leave a comment here so I can get a headcount. Thanks!

You wrote:  "I have a couple of places in mind where we can go (10-15 min walking distance)".  That would be fine with me; however, McCormick Place is sort-of out-of-the-way and,depending on how many of the group are staying at the Convention Center hotel (Hyatt) vs. downtown hotels, you might want to consider whether you want a restaurant near the Convention Center or something closer to the hotels in the Loop or north of the Chicago River.  Just a thought ...
