Bio

Hello!

I’m Andrew Cale, an aspiring anatomical sciences educator. Currently, I’m a 2nd year Ph.D. student in the Education Track of the Anatomy, Cell Biology, and Physiology Ph.D. Program at Indiana University School of Medicine. My dissertation research focuses on evaluating and developing metacognitive skills in healthcare professionals and medical educators. Prior to pursuing a Ph.D., I earned an M.S. in Modern Human Anatomy with a Certificate in Anatomical Sciences Education from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. When I'm not in the classroom or the anatomy labs, I also help promote the anatomical sciences as a volunteer on the AAA Ambassador Committee and through various public outreach events.

If you’d like to chat about any of my research projects or presentations, please feel free to contact me via any of the methods listed in my profile!
