Hi Donald,
Thanks for joining and your input to the embryology document. I believe early development (as you suggested) is an essential element when it comes to core competency. I am also wondering if fertilization/specific pre-fertilization events, and placental development and circulation be apt or would these be too specific? I would await further inputs/discussions on the subject and then edit and incorporate these in a final document after obtaining consensus from all members/participants.

-------------------------------------------The idea of competencies is great, as curriculum change here leads us to ask the question "What should we be teaching?". I went ahead and modified the overall embryology competencies a little, and saved it as another file in case others didn't agree. I am very interested in participating in this process for both embryology and histology. Is anyone taking the lead on this? I can help in any way you see fit.
