  • 1.  Who's going to EB in San Diego next month?

    Hello members of DHIG,

    EB is only about 2 weeks away!!  Who's going?

    Please respond here if you are going and if you are presenting, please add date/time and title of your talk, poster or session.

    I might try to compile a list of DHIG members and their presentation schedules at EB so that we can go see each other's work & network. 

    For those going, would you be interested in a DHIG luncheon again this year?

    Members of DHIG,

    I will be attending the meeting and am honored to be the recipient of the Henry Gray Distinguished Educator Medal.  I will be giving an invited talk "On the Way to Virtual" in Room 10, Tuesday, April 5, 4:00 - 4:30 PM.  I attached the abstract of my talk for anyone who would like a preview of my talk.

    Looking forward to seeing many at the meeting in San Diego.  I will be arriving with my wife Friday, April 1 and staying until Wednesday, April 6.

    Thank you, Lisa, for organizing this. I am looking forward to meeting my AAA friends and colleagues again in San Diego. I will be attending the entire conference. I assume all DHIG members will come to the 'Building the Future of Histology' session organized and chaired by Raj Ettarh on Saturday April 2 at 1 pm in Room 8. There is a lot of other good stuff at the EB Meeting.

    Lisa, let us know when the DHIG group can have lunch together.

    Hi!  I will be arriving in the afternoon of Saturday, April 2, and will be leaving early in the morning of Wednesday, April 6.  I haven't looked at the schedule for conflicts with a luncheon meeting, but I'm always interested in lunch.  Looking forward to seeing you in San Diego!

    So glad to hear from old and new DHIG friends! Keep'em coming!

    Next week, I'll propose a couple of possible times for luncheon, stay tuned!

    I am presenting a poster on peer-teaching (Poster board #565.5, Program #565.5, Abstract ID #6081) on Sunday, April 3 between noon to 2pm. It's actually not on histology but on embryology - but still pretty interesting stuff, I think!

My poster presentation is on Genotype discrimination using facial and body anthropometry among Hausas, abstract #949, program #555.2 on April 3, from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm.
