Round Table Topic: Integrating Histology With Other Subjects

    Hello everyone,

Further to the recent DHIG emails from Stefanie and James about a round-table session during EB 2017, another possible topic for our session is a discussion of integrating our teaching of histology with other subjects (such as physiology and/or pathology). Some of us may have been doing this for years already, others may be in the early stages  (I'm in this category), and others may be interested in such integration in the future.

The participants in this round-table session would describe what other subjects they are integrating (or may wish to integrate) with their histology teaching, discuss methods for doing so in an effective manner, discuss how best to assess the integrated knowledge, and discuss what does and doesn't work (and why or why not).

As with the earlier email from James Rhodes about a discussion on incorporating virtual slides/microscopy, if you think that this topic of histology integration will be useful during our round-table session at EB 2017, kindly click on the "Recommend" button of this message. In addition, please feel free to add to this thread if you have any further ideas of comments about this topic and how we may best discuss it at EB 2017.

    Very best,

    Karen
