Bio

I am a Professor of Anatomy at Kansas Health Science University-Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. I teach embryology, histology, and neuroanatomy to medical students. In addition to my teaching, I am interested in anatomy education research. I trained as an molecular embryologist, examining the genetic regulation of neural crest cell development and the etiology of craniofacial malformations.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, baking, football, and traveling. My best time is spent with my husband, our four (!) sons, and dog (Phoebe).
